Sin and Confession

At the Incarnation Jesus like us in all things except sin;but at the time of the Passion,He became sin. He took on our sins and that was why He was rejected by the Father. I think that this was the greatest of all the sufferings that He had to endure and the thing He dreaded most in the agony in the Garden. Those words of His on the Cross were the expression of the depth of His loneliness and Passion that His own Father didn't claim Him as His Son. That, despote all his suffering and anguish, His Father did not claim Him as His Beloved Son, as He didat the Baptism by St john the Baptist and at the Transfiguration. You ask "Why?" Because God cannot accept sinand Jesus had taken on sin. He had become sin.

After reading this passage in my book I am reading "Come Be My Light" I reflected on what confession of sin means to me.
Alot of people think you just go there spill your gutts and go about your day. Thats not the truth. Confession is where you are able to face God with all your faults, sins, and joys in your life. You are able to sit down and face down with all your mistakes and choices in your life. You can reflect on why you commited these sins, and you will be absolved of all these sins. Jesus took up the cross for US! He loved us so much he paided the ultimate price for us. He was rejected by all, just so we could have eternal life.
So everytime you decide to commit a sin or even a little sin. Jesus paided the price for each one of us and he is always there for us when we need him most.

So go to confession!! Run to confession and talk to Jesus. He is there waiting for us.
